Birdie Stenson, 61, Story City, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday at the Story County Home near Nevada. She had been a resident of the home for 15 years.

She was born in Story City and was a resident there until she moved to the Home.

Survivors inslude three brothers, Dr. Gerhard Stenson, of Yankton, S.D.; Bernard Mayland of Jewell, Gjalmer Egenes of St. Louis, Mo.; and several brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Larson Funeral Home, Story City, the Rev. H. T. Masted officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
