Obituary

MRS. ALFRED MANNES

Emma Helland Mannes was born near McCallburg, Jan. 10, 1912; the daughter of the late Morten and Dorothea Helland. After several months of illness she died at Mary Greeley Hospital Jan. 18, at the age of 49. She was baptized and confirmed in the Bethany Lutheran Church, McCallsburg.

She married to Alfred Mannes, Dec. 19, 1933.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carolyn Louise, her father and mother, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her husband, Alfred; a son Londell and a daughter, Marilyn; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Ellingson, McCallsburg and Mrs. Bertha Brue, Ames; four brothers, Millard and Delmar, McCallsburg and Jesse and Milo, Story City.
