Joseph Dobbe, Slater, died

Joseph Dobbe, 75, Slater, died Sunday morning at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Slater, with the Rev. John Ness officiating. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery, Huxley.

Survivors include his wife, Emma; on son Donovan, Arlington Heights, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Evangeline Newman of Grand Junction; three brothers: Henry of Greeley, Colo. and Elmer and Milton, both of Huxley; and three grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Riis Funeral Home, Slater, until noon Tuesday.
