Mrs. Iverson, Story City, died

Mrs. Iver B. Iverson, 84, died at her home in Story City Wednesday at 3 p.m. after a six months illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. from St. Petri Lutheran Chruch in Story City with the Rev. George C. Strom officiating. Burial will be in the Story City municipal cemetery. The body will lie in state in the Larson Funeral Home in Story City until noon Saturday.

Born in Norway, she came to this country at the age of 14. Her husband preceded her in death in May of 1949. Mr. and Mrs. Iverson farmed near Stanhope until retirement in 1944 when they moved to Story City.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Thora Leonard of Story City, Mrs. Alvina Marten of Des Moines, Irene Iverson of Marshalltown, one son, Bloyd Iverson of Ames; five grandchildren; one sister, Malene Sorvig in Norway and several nieces and nephews in Norway.
