Lois M. Christian, 80, passed away January 30, 2013 at Israel Family Hospice House.

Lois was born November 17, 1932 to Earl and Wanda (Wierson) Clayberg in Story City, Iowa. She lived most of her life in Story City later retiring from the Heart of Iowa Co-op. Lois also enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends of the Red Hat Society.

Lois is survived by one son, Allan (Janelle) Christian of Huxley; five daughters, Cynthia (Mike) Brown of The Colony, TX, Sonja (Mike) Haferbier of Story City, Rebecca (Doug) Cross of Genesco, IL, Teresa (Merlin) Bowers of Gilbert and Gina (Brad) Eslick of Story City; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; brother Dave (Charlene) Clayberg of Marcus, IA and sister Sandra (Jack) South of Ellston, IA.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Wanda; two brothers, Russell “Butch” and James “Stoney”; one sister Irene Goodmanson and three infant grandchildren.
