Services Saturday in Story City for Mrs. Helen Bilek
STORY CITY--Mrs. Helen G. Bilek, age 74, died Wednesday night at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames where she had been hospitalized since Feb. 14. Family services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday Feb. 21 from the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City. Rev. C. A. Gisselquist will officiate with burial in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
Born May 27, 1901 in Hancock, Mich., she was the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Freeburn. She was bookkeeper at Younker's until she retired in 1966.
She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Helen Strain of Story City, Mrs. Frank Elseman of Omaha, Neb. and Mrs. Paula DeForest of Lombard, Ill.; and one son, F. Thomas of Plano, Ill., 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one grandson.

Helen G. Bilek of Story City, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 18, at Mary Greeley Hospital.
Family services are at 11 a.m. Satuday from the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Hom, Story City with the Rev. C. A. Guisselquist officiating. Burial is in the Story City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bilek was born May 27, 1901 in Hancock, Mich. She had been employed with Younkers as a bookkeeper. She retired in 1966.
Mrs. Bilek is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Helen Strain of Story City, Mrs. Fran Elfeman of Omaha, Neb. and Mrs. Paul DeForest of Lombard, Ill., a son F. Thomas Bilek of Plano, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a grandson.
Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City, is in charge of arrangements.
