Knut Knudson Dies Early Today; Funeral on Thursday

Story City, May 5--Knut Knudson, 70, native son of this community, died at Mary Greeley hospital, Ames, today at 7:30, where he had been confined for the past four weeks or more and had submitted to two surgical operations.

Funeral rites will be Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at St. Petri church, with his pastor, Rev. S. T. Nelson in charge. Burial will be in the family lot in the Story City cemetery.

He was born on the old Knudson homestead south of Story City and had lived on his own farm southeast of there for many years.

Never married and his parents dead he is survived by his only sister, Mrs. Mary Doolittle and brothers, Halvor, Oile, Nels and Julius, all of Story City.
