Terry Bernard Meimann
September 21, 1946 - December 20, 2012

Terry Bernard Meimann, 66 of Nevada died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Story County Medical Center in Nevada. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 24 at the First United Methodist Church, 1036 7th Street in Nevada with Pastor Kevin Leveck officiating.
Terrance Meimann was born in Story City on September 21, 1946 to George Bernard and Virginia (Rule) Meimann. Terry worked as a transport driver for the Department of Transportation until he retired in September of 2011. He was a member of the Mississippi Valley Race Car Club, and enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, and just loving people.

Terry is survived by Patty Valline of Nevada; children Monica (Bob) Caldwell of Des Moines, Mike (Julie)Valline, Craig Valline both of Nevada, and Mary ( Matt) Coughenour of Maxwell; grandchildren Bobby and Lauren Caldwell, Scott and Jenny Valline, Trever and Trent Coughenour along with great-grandchild Riley; Two sisters, Theresa (Gary) Donald of Huntsville AL, Cecelia (Kevin) Christianson of Zearing, and two brothers, Ken (Jacki) Meimann of McCallsburg , and Gary (Ricki) Meimann of North Little Rock AR.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alan Lynn Meimann in 2000.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23 with the family present from 2-4:00 p.m. at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada.

A memorial fund has been established in loving memory of Terry.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Terry and his family.
