Pioneer Story City Woman Is Dead; Funeral on Tuesday
Story City, March 22--Mrs. E. E. Sevaried, 72, resident of Story City for the past 49 years, passed away at the Story City hospital at 3:45 Saturday afternoon. She had been bedfast since the middle of January and in failing health for a few years.
She came to Story City in 1894 with her husband from Goodhue county, Minn.
Funeral services will be hld Tuesday afternoon at 2 p. m. from the St. Petri Lutheran church with Rev. S. T. Nelson in charge of the services. Burial wil be in the Story City cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, one son, Elliott, of Goldfield, and two daughters, Mrs. Sanford Hill and Yellowstone National Park and Mrs. M. V. Dresher of Omaha, Neb. She also leave live grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Otto Mostrom of Zumbrota, Minn., and two brothers, Martin Naeseth of Wannamingo, Minn., and Rev. Carellus Naeseth of Morrisonville, Wis.
She had been a member of St. Petri's Lutheran church since coming to Story City nearly a half century ago.
