MRS. A. M. HENDERSON

Julia T. Hegland was bron on the 19th of June 1872, in Howard township, her parent being the pioneer settlers, Ole O. and Ingeborg Hegland. She passed from this life on the 28th day of October 1936, her span of life having covered over 64 years.

On January 1, 1891, she was married to Annas M. Henderson, and to this union three children were born. One son, Floyd, died at the age of nine.

For the first years of their married life, Mr. and Mrs. Henderson made their home on their farm northeast of Story City, known as the old Lars Sheldahl homestead which Mr. Henderson had purchased a year before their marriage, but in 1894 they moved into town, and this has since been their home.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband, daughter Mildred and son Luther. One brother and six sisters also survive her, namely, M. J. Hegland of Roseau, Minn., Mrs. H. E. Myrah and Mrs. B. M. Rasmussen of Story City, Mrs. O. S. Boyd of Roland, Mrs. W. W. Enlow of Quincy, Ill., Mrs. Fred Hansen of Nevada, and Agnes Hegland of Boston. Two sisters, Belle and Minnie preceded her to the better home.
