--Mrs. J. R. Brown recently received a telegram from Bloomington, Ill., announcing the death, after a lingering illness, of her sister Nellie Cullen.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. J. R. Brown" was Hattie (Cullen) Brown, wife of James R. Brown. They were married in Menard County, Illinois on 23 August 1877.
