STORY CITY MAN DEAD.

Henry Lund Passed Away There Wednesday.

Special to the Journal.
Story City, Feb. 14.--Henry Lund son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole C. Lund, was born Dec. 8, 1889, on the Lund farm northwest of here and died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 11, 1925. He underwent an operation for appendicitis at the local hospital Friday, Feb. 6. His death was caused by an attack of pneumonia following the operation.

Mr. Lund grew to manhood in this community and was united in marriage to Mabel Heers, Feb. 15, 1919. They have made their homew on the F. W. Heers farm west of town ever since. To this union was born two children, Laura Jane, age 3, and Arnold, age 1 1/2 years.

He leaves besides his wife and two children, his mother and father, two brothers, Ole and Theodore Lund, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Dyvig, Mrs. Bertha Torkelson, Mrs. Ira Christensen, all of this place, and Mabel Lund, who has been spending the past few months in California.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon.

Their many friends here extend their sympathy to the family in this hour of their great sorrow.
