He was born in Highland, Illinois, on December 7, 1918 the son of William George Alleman and Magdelena (Schrumph) Alleman. He was raised near Alleman and graduated from Alleman High School and a two year agriculture course at Iowa State. On August 7, 1941 Milton was joined in marriage to Wanda Battles. They were blessed with 50 years together enjoying many good times with family and friends. They worked hard but also found many ways and people to share the pleasures of life with. They knew to appreciate their years of youth and health as they lived them.

One of Milt and Wanda's favorite places was the family cabin on Eagles Nest Lake near Ely, Minnesota. The cabin was the center of decades of fishing, walks, skiing, boating, snowmobiling and many happy gatherings of good friends. In later years, Milt and Wanda also enjoyed traveling in their RV.

Preceding Milt in death were his parents, his wife Wanda, and his sister Marian. He is survived by his children, Marsha Steensland of Phoenix, Arizona, Mark (Deann) Alleman of Aurora, Illinois, and Kathy Alleman of Aurora, Colorado, his grandchildren, Shelly (Scott) Southall, Nichole (Shawn) Broadus, Angela Alleman, and Brandon Alleman, and his great granddaughter Sydney Broadus.

The family wishes to thank Attorney Frank M. Smith, of Des Moines for years of service and support for Milt and also the many people at the Madrid Home for their loving care for Milt in his later years.

Memorials should be donated to the Madrid Home.
