Craig D. Anderson

BORN: July 9, 1949

DIED: March 23, 2012

LOCATION: Ames, Iowa

Craig D. Anderson was born July 9, 1949 to Arnold and Fern (Sampson) Anderson in Ames, Iowa. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church in Radcliffe and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church in Roland. Craig was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. Craig served in the United States Navy and was employed by 3-M at the Ames' production facilities shipping department. He sang with the Ames Tones, enjoyed coffee, fishing, boating, farming, and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew.

Craig passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames at 62 years of age.

Craig is survived by his mother, Fern Anderson of Story City; a sister, Joan Anderson Schuler of Story City; nieces Rachel and Sarah; a nephew, Grant; and a great-niece, Jacklyn Joan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold; and two infant siblings, Charles Anderson and Cheryl Anderson.
