Eugene Boster

BORN: April 3, 1928

DIED: April 3, 2012

LOCATION: Story City

Eugene Boster was born April 3, 1928 to Floyd M. and Freda A. (Coughenour) Boster in Williamsburg, Iowa. Gene married Dolores Flockhart on July 15, 1950. He taught Industrial Arts at Kamrar, and then at Story City and Roland-Story from 1957 until retiring in 1992. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and played in the Bell Choir. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, skiing, and Volkswagon cars.

Gene passed away April 3, 2012 at Bethany Manor in Story City at 84 years of age.

Gene is survived by his wife, Dolores of Story City; a son, Dave (Sally) Boster of Nevada; a daughter, Lisa (Mark) Mathis of Roland; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Joni Boster; and his grandson, Garett Reid Boster.
