Mrs. I. Reid received a telegram on Monday last, announcing the death of her father, and started on the night train for Morning Sun, Louisa county to attend the funeral.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. I. Reid" was Mary Ellen (Braden) Reid, wife of Rev. Isaiah Reid.
