Obituary.

Mrs. Shedd, mother of Shedd Bros. died on Sunday afternoon, at about 4 P. M. of dropsy and heart disease, aged about 71 years.

She came to this place from Marion, Linn county, with her husband last fall, and consequently had only been a resident of Nevada for few months. She had been gradually declining in health for several years, and since residing here, been confined to the house most of the time. She was an exemplary christian woman, highly respected and beloved by all who knew her, and by whom her loss will be greatly mourned. Her remains were taken to Marion for interment.
