DR. JOHN ANDREW PINES, 87, 7411 Forest City Road, died Wednesday.

Dr. Pines was a radiologist and a native of Boone, Iowa. He was a member of the Kress Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church, the American Medical Association, and the Orange County Medical Association.

Survivors: Widow, Ida, Orlando; daughters, Mrs. Mary Sybil Ray, Orlando, and Mrs. Alberta Spanos, St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Mrs. Ida Stenberg, Boulder, Colo. and two grandchildren.
