The little grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dayton*, died on Sunday evening last, very suddenly, with the croup. It was aged about 5 years, was a bright little girl and pet of its grandparents, and since its mother's death about three years since, had been cared for and watched over by Mr. and Mrs. Dayton. It was buried yesterday, Tuesday. Its father, Mr. Thos. J. Dayton, is a resident of Laramie city, Wyoming territory, and was unable to be present to attend the last sad rites of its burial.
