Mrs. Jennie Eastwood Crane, wife of E. A. Crane, a prominent farmer living west of the college at Ames, died quite suddenly Monday morning of heart failure. Mrs. Crane had been in poor health for several months but was not thought to be seriously ill so her death was unexpected and ws a great shock to her many friends. The funeral was at the family residence Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock conducted by Rev. Williams of he Christian church and interment made in the Ontario cemetery.
