Mrs. George M. Conard of Gilbert died at the home of her son J. W. Conard of Virginia February 7th and the remains were interred in the cemetery at Gilbert Monday. The funeral was held in the Congregational church and were conducted by Rev. Buck the pastor. She was the mother of five children of which but three were in attendance, Mrs. Margaret Thayer of Hutchinson, Kansas; J. W. Conard, of Prospect, Virginia; and Miss Georgia of Gilbert. A. E. Conard of Northport, Washington and Miss Ella of Clarenda being unable to attend.
