Miss Daisy Halterman living three miles south of Collins died at her home Sunday evening in great agony after drinking concentrated lye. Despondency is given as the cause of her action. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Halterman, twenty years old, and had a host of friends in that neighborhood. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Christian church, in Collins, Rev. Roberts officiating.
