Mrs. Jacob Noble, one of the old and prominent citizens of New Albany township, died at her home north of Collins at 8 o'clock last Thursday evening. She had been ill for several months, but the immediate cause of her death was pneumonia.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Jacob Noble" was also known as James Jacob Noble. Christina/Christiane Harlan (aka Harland) married firstly John Johnson on 25 December 1865 in Belle Plaine, Benton County, Iowa and secondly Jacob Noble on 1 November 1893 in Tama County, Iowa.
