DIED--On Tuesday last Mrs. Joseph N. Chitty at her home near Fernald as the direst result of a paralytic stroke resulting from a surgical operation recently performed. She was born in 1857 and was married to Mr. Chitty twenty-eight years ago, and leaves her husband a daughter and son to mourn her departure, together with a father C. P. Page and a brother and sister. The funeral was held at the home in Richland township by the Presiding elder of the M. E. Church of this district after which the remains were deposited in the cemetery at Johnsons' Grove to await the last call. The lady will be missed by her friends who have learned to love her for many and sterling qualities and will look forward to a future meeting in that land where parting shall be no more.
