Saturday night Frank Lowery died at the Poor Farm from a malignant cancer, aged about 45 years. He has been a resident of that institution for several years. At one time he was in attendance upon a medical hospital at Des Moines for treatment for this disease and the remains were sent to it for investigation trusting that light upon the disease might be obtained from proper investigation.
