DIED--At her residence in McCallsburg on Wednesday morning after a brief illness from inflamation of the bowels, Mrs. E. O. Dillin, aged about 33 years. Her funeral was to be held today at the home in McCallsburg and the remains brought to the Nevada Cemetery for interment. She leaves a husband and one son and daughter to mourn her taking off. She was the daughter of Mrs. I. O. Spencer and was well and favorably known to our people. The sympathy of our people are extended to the bereaved ones at this hour.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. E. O. Dillin" was May Celia (Loomis) Dillin, wife of Elwyn Otho Dillin. She was the daughter of Thomas S. Loomis and Sarah Vina Hall. Her mother, Sarah Vina Hall, referred to above as "Mrs. I. O. Spencer" married twice: firstly, to Thomas S. Loomis on 6 June 1868 and secondly to Orlando Isaac Spencer (aka Isaac Orlando Spencer) on 27 January 1875.
