Mrs. Thorvald Gausland (Nelson) died yesterday forenoon and will be buried tomorrow (Thursday) at 2 o'clock from Salem church.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Lillie "Lena" Jacobson married Thorvald Nelson 5 January 1900 in Nevada, Story County, Iowa. Thorvald's parents are listed as Nels Gausland and Anna Bjernstad. Prior to this record, on all censuses Thorvald is listed as Thorvald Gausland. In the 1900 census he is listed as T. Nelson in Warren Twp., Story County, Iowa but his mother, Anna Gausland, is living with T. and Lillie Nelson. It appears the writer of the obituary wasn't sure which name to use either.
