AMES.

Mrs. Mary Anna Winters of this city died very suddenly at her home Saturday morning. The funeral services were conducted from the residence of the deceased by James R. McIntre of Fort Dodge formerly of the Christian church of Ames. Mrs. Winters was one the early settlers of the vicinity and her presence amony its people will be missed.
