From Story County Watchman August 1, 1902

Maxwell Tribune: Mrs. F. W. Hill and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Lockwood left for Anamosa on the noon train Saturday and Mr. Hill and Ralph went on the flyer at night, being called there to attend the funeral of Mrs. Curry, Mrs. Hill's sister, who died in Omaha a few days ago, having gone there to have an operation performed, from which she did not recover. Mrs. Curry was quite well known in Maxwell....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. F. W. Hill" was Cordelia "Delia" (Lockwood) Hill, wife of Frank W. Hill. Her sister, referred to as "Mrs. Curry," was the deceased, Rebecca A. (Lockwood) Kerr, wife of Samuel P. Kerr. Both the women were married in Anamosa, Jones County, Iowa on 19 October 1866, presumably in a double ceremony. They were the daughters of James M. B. Lockwood and Louisa (Wallbridge) Lockwood.
