From Story County Watchman August 8, 1902

Collins Liberator: ....Mrs. H. K. Poorbaugh, whose home was 1 1/2 miles northwest of Mingo, died at 11 o'clock Monday after an illness of three months with Bright's disease. She leaves her husband and several children, one a babe but a month old. Mrs. Poorbaugh was about 45 years of age.
