Ames Intelligencer: Chris Sorenson attended the funeral of Mrs. Sorenson's aunt, at Story City last week....

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "Mrs. Sorenson" was Sarah (Charlson) Sorenson, daughter of John Charlson. John Charlson and his wife, Bertha, were living with the Sorensons in the 1885 Lafayette Township, Story County, Iowa census. (The Sorensons later lived in Ames, Story County, Iowa.) Ragnhild (Owenson) Charlson died 25 April 1902 and was married to Jacob Charlson (who died 21 January 1890) and they lived near Story City in Scott Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. Both Ragnhild and Jacob Charlson are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Story City, Story County, Iowa. John Charlson and Jacob Charlson were apparently brothers.
