Roland Record: ....Mrs. Martha Britson died at the home of her son, Sam Britson, Thursday afternoon. She was buried Friday afternoon from Bergen's church. She was about 85 years old. Came to Story county in 1856 being one of the first settlers here. Her husband died 27 years ago.
