Maxwell Tribune: Rachel Rogers born in Louisville, Kentucky, July 16, 1821, died June 19, 1901, aged 79 years, 11 months, 3 days. She was united in marriage to Peter Graybeal, April 20, 1839. After forty years of happy companionship the husband was called to the spiritland in November, 1879. She was the mother of nine children, seven of whom are left to mourn their loss. The funeral was held from the Byers chapel, Friday, June 21st conducted by Rev. I. M. T. Cory.
