The King City, Mo. Democrat of March 8th, gives an account of the death of J. C. Alldridge, formerly of this county, at the age of 87 years. he was born in Knox county, Tenn., in 1814, coming to Story county in 1853 where he lived for twenty-three years before moving to Missouri in 1876. His wife still survives him at an age almost as great and her friends are extending their sympathy to her. He also leaves a family of shildren and grand-children to look to the future when a meeting shall be held from which partings are no more.
