From Story County Watchman March 30, 1900

The Union, Oregon, Scout, of the 23d inst. gives an account of the death of Mrs. C. A. Paddock*, of that city on the 16th. She was the mother of Thos. Paddock who resided in this city for several years. His many friends here will be sorry to learn of his loss.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "C. A. Paddock" was Charles A. Paddock. Thos."Tom" Paddock, as he is referred to here, was more well known as Fred Leman Paddock.
