OBITUARY.

On Saturday, January 27, Mr. Benjamin Corbin departed this life having reached the age of 92 years 11 months and 6 days.

Deceased was born in Huntington county, Pa. He was married to Miss Margaret M. Park, February 21, 1830. He moved to Ohio in 1834, to Webster county, Iowa, in 1853, and to Story county in 1866 where he has since resided. He leaves to mourn his death one son and seven daughters, fifty-nine grandchildren, sixty-four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In early life Mr. Corbin united with the church, and remained a consistent member to the end. He was patiently waiting the summons to go home and be at rest. Funeral services were conducted Monday last by Rev. A. R. Shrader at the home of Kenzie Corbin and at the Johnson Grove Lutheran church. His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near by.

In the many afflictions which have come to the family in the past year they have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
