Nov. 21, 1904 - March 26, 1992Gaylon F. Mann, 87, Nevada, died Thursday of a heart ailment at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Graveside services and burial will be held Tuesday a 10 a.m. a Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.
Gaylon Mann was born in Tama to Fred and Addie (Wilson) Mann. A lifelong resident of the Nevada area, he married Vivian Kimble on July 28, 1928, in Sioux City. He drove a tank for the Nevada Independent Oil Company, retiring in 1966.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Mann of Nevada; two sons, Edwin of Riverside, Calif., and Gordon Mann of Roland; two daughters, Glendora Clark of Ames and Joyce Hunter of Nevada; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today Monday, from noon to 9 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Nevada Senior Citizens Center and to the American Heart Association.
