DIED.--Thursday evening after a lingering illness at the residence of J. W. Almy, Mr. E. Wooley aged about seventy-nine years. Mr. Wooley was a native of Bellows' Falls, Vermont, but when nine years of age his parents moved to Watertown, N. Y. In 1836 he was married to Miss Alma Nicholson. They moved to Story county in 1888 where they have since resided. Mr. Wooley leaves five children to mourn his loss, L. Wooley, who lives in Grant township and Mrs. Ida Almy in this city. The others reside elsewhere. Mrs. Wooley died in 1882. The funeral services were held yesterday at the residence of Mr. Almy and under the supervision of Revs. Henderson and Palm after which the remains were taken to their old residence in Wilmington, Ill., and interred in the family grounds.
