Slater News: ....Miss Cora Fatland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Fatland, Cambridge, returned home Wednesday. Miss Fatland in company with Ella Hill went up to Wright county last summer to assist Ole Mason during the severe illness of his family. The girls both took sick and Miss Hill died shortly afterwards. Miss Fatland was also very ill, but improved slowly and was taken to her uncle P. Fatland's place near by. Her friends in Slater are glad to see her well enough to return home again. She was accompanied by her mother and brother Oscar. They spent Wednesday with Grandma Fatland at Slater.
