DIED--Thursday night, May 11th at the residence of her husband Major James Hawthorn, Mrs. Elizabeth Hawthorn, aged 75 years and three months. Mrs. Hawthorn has been sick for many months and at last summons has come and her spirit has gone to that better land. She was born in the State of New York, but moved to this place at an early day and has seen the country grow up from a wilderness to its present state of prosperity. She leaves a husband and grown up children to mourn her loss and to look forward to a meeting in that land from which there is no return. The time of the funeral has not yet been announced but will possibly be on Sunday next.
