From Story County Watchman March 18, 1892

This morning W. C. Marsh, living in the south east part of town was found dead in his bed, having been dead so long that he was cold. A coroners' jury was immediately impanelled and they are investigating the cause as we go to press this morning. Mr. Marsh has lived in this place quite a number of years and was universally respected by all his acquaintances.
