OBITUARY.--Mrs. Emma Goodell Tooker, wife of R. B. Tooker, died at her home seven miles south-west of Nevada, March 10th, 1892. She was born at Gratton, N. Y., December 15th, 1845; was married to Rowland Tooker September 24th, 1864, and with her family moved to Story county, Iowa, in 1871. She professed faith in Christ as her savior a little over a year ago. Broken health soon confined her to her home and after long and extreme suffering she passed from this life assuring her friends of the abiding comfort of the presence of God. A large assembly of relatives and friends on Sunday attended the funeral service conducted at the M. E. Church in Nevada by Rev. W. W. Danner. Abundant is the testimony of regard for the departed and sympathy with the sorrowing husband, daughter and son.

Mr. Tooker and family espress sincere thanks to friends and neighbors who have so kindly assisted them in their affliction.
