From Story County Watchman February 27, 1885

DIED:--Mrs. Sarah Ann Booher, of this village mother of the Messrs. Booher, died on Wednesday after a lingering illness. She was buried in the Nevada cemetery* yesterday.

From Story County Watchman March 6, 1885

DIED:--On Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1885 after a lingering illness at the residence of S. D. Booher, in Nevada Mrs. S. A. Booher, age 57 years 7 months, and four days. She was born in Sullivan county, Tenn. and moved to Iowa, 34 years ago next May, and has been a resident of Story County for the last 20 years all of which she has lived in this township. She has been a member of the Evangelist and more recently of the Methodist Church, of which she was an acceptable member to the last. The funeral was preached at Iowa Centre by Rev. Humblebough and the remains were interred in the Cemetery* at that place.

She leaves three sons and one daughter, all grown, to follow her to that realm beyond the skys in the future and look to a reunion in which there shall be no more parting.

* SUBMITTER'S NOTE: According to cemetery records the second article appears correct: Sarah A. Booher is buried in the Woodland aka Iowa Center Cemetery, Story County, Iowa.
