Roger Clair Thornton died Aug. 28, 2010. He was 74.
Mr. Thornton was born Aug. 12, 1936, in Zearing, Iowa, where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After his time in the service, he worked as a stockbroker. In 1885 he married Evelyn Amabuyoc.
A funeral Mass was held at Christ the King Church, Milwaukie, Oregon.
