DIED.--In Nevada, on the 2nd of August, Frank S. Beatty, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beatty aged --- years.

Frank is known to all because of the afflictions under which he has labored from childhood--that of being deaf and dumb. For the past few years he has been in attendance at the Deaf and Dumb Asylum at Council Bluffs and gave promise of a useful future, but the sickle of that grim gentleman death slipped in and claimed him as his.

The sympathy of all are extended to the parents, sister and brother in this affiction and all that can be done is to point to a future where parting shall be no more.
