Beverly N. Lund, nee Nelson, 81, of Western Springs, Illinois, wife of Harvey A. ("Jack") Lund for 63 years, mother of Bruce (Jean) Lund and Valerie (Taylan) Ozaksut, grandmother of Jon Ozaksut, Anne Ozaksut and Veronica Lund, died October 26, 2010 of MDS.

Beverly was an executive secretary to the president of Clyde Federal S & L, to Consumer Products VP of A.E. Staley Mfg. Co., to Classified Ad Manager and Editor of the Suburban Trib and to Chicago Bakery Employers Labor Council. While employed at a temporaries firm, she enjoyed such assignments as secretary to Chicago Daily News Editor and Publisher, John S. Knight for nine weeks and to Dr. Max Thorek, American Hospital of Chicago Chief of Staff/Founder of Intl. College of Surgeons for eight weeks.

She had a zest for life. She and Jack traveled to each of the 50 states and to more than 60 countries.

Memorial services will be held at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, 618 Lafayette Avenue, Story City on Sunday, November 14 at 1:30 p.m.
