DIED--At his home in Palestine Twp. on Saturday, Sept. 22, W. B. Hopkins aged 60 years.

Mr. Hopkins has lived in Story county sixteen years, and has, by his intelligence and honesty, won the esteem of his neighbors and the people of the county. He has been honored with several public positions, and always filled them to the satisfaction of all. After living to a ripe old age, he goes to a haven of rest, where he will be greeted by the Creator's praise: "Well done, good--and faithful servant; enter into the kingdom prepared for thee before the foundation of the world."
