Otto Babcock, 54, Resident Here 7 Years, Dies. Mon.

Otto Babcock, 54, a former resident of Ames for seven years, died Monday at 9 p. m. at his home in Los Angeles, Cal., it was reported Tuesday by Mrs. W. A. Thompson, who received a telephone call from Los Angeles late Monday night.

Mr. Babcock suffered an attack of indigestion Sunday afternoon.

The Babcocks came to Ames in 1916 and Mr. Babcock was in the insurance business here with W. A. Thompson for a number of years. Mr. Babcock returned to Ames for a year in 1930.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Jack, and a brother, Bert; also one grandchild, Margaret Ann.
