Services are Tuesday for Bonnie Tesdall

Funeral services for Bonnie Tesdall are Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Ascension Lutheran Church. The Rev. James Asp will officiate with burial in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Tesdall, 47, of 707 Kellogg Ave., died Saturday evening, May 1 at Mary Greeley Hospital.

She was born May 27, 1928 in Conrad. She came to Ames in September 1941 and graduated from Ames High School in 1944. For the past 15 years Mrs. Tesdall has been supervisor in the drafting department of the Department of Transportation.

Mrs. Tesdall married Donald Tesdall Aug. 27, 1971 in Sioux Falls, S.D. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Women and taught Sunday school.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Robert Hagen, stationed in San Diego, Calif. with the U.S. Marine Corps; two daughters, Janet Lehman of Boone and Marcia Moore of Ames; one grandson; two brothers, Hubert Bowers of Cassville, Mo. and LaVerne Bowers of Ames; a sister, Mrs. Jane Nordhagen of Ames; Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Bowers of Ames, one step-daugher, Ann Marie Tesdall of Kelley and one step-son Mark (Douglas Mark) Tesdall, stationed in San Diego, Calif with the U.S. Marine Corps.

A memorial fund has been established. Gifts may be left at the Union Story Trust and Savings Bank.

Friends may call at Stevens Memorial Chapel tonight and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
