Roy Dorsey died today

Roy H. Dorsey, 70, 216 North Hazel Ave., died Monday morning at Mary Greeley Hospital after a long illness.

Born Sept. 27, 1899 in Clark County, Mo., he had lived in Ames since 1950 and was employed at the Iowa State University dairy farm until his retirement in 1963. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Dorsey is survived by his wife, Faye; three stepsons, Charles Hagen of Lancaster, Calif., Anton O. Hagen of Savage, Minn., and Donald Hagen, with the U.S. Air Force in the Philippines; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Connie Rasmussen of 117 Washington Ave., Mrs. Alberta Kennedy of Kelley and Mrs. Eleanor Olson, R.R. 1. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Gladys Alvis, Argyle, and 23 step grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Adams Funeral Home.
